As a consultant in our Private Client Services, you will actively work, under the supervision of a Senior Consultant or an executive, on the preparation of work on personal income tax planning. Your main responsibilities as consultant are:
Prepare resident and non-resident tax returns for business related and high net worth individuals (income tax returns, inheritance tax returns…).
Assist business related and high net worth individuals during tax audits, tax claims, etc.
Prepare and implement estate planning in national & cross-border situations (gift and inheritance tax planning, philanthropic planning…).
Stay up-to-date regarding market changes and develop a broader knowledge around your client portfolio.
Understand the general business of the client and maintain long-term collaborative and profitable relationships with your clients.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with your colleagues of the team.
Actively participate to the training and coaching sessions of your development plan and be responsible for the development of your own technical knowledge.
We are looking for candidates with the following background:
You have a degree in Law or Economical Sciences.
You have 2 to 3 years relevant experience in personal tax matters.
You speak Dutch and English fluently.
You have the ability to work autonomously but also like to work in a small team.
You are eager to progress and have an analytical mind.
You have outstanding writing skills and are a good communicator.
You have a good IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes…).
