Our Pfizer Clinical Research Unit (PCRU) in Brussels is a state-of-the-art research facility with sixty inpatient beds dedicated to early clinical trials (Phase 1 & 2a studies).
o Assures and is responsible for data and sample collection and safety of the trial subjects
o Performs self-check on all data collected for accuracy
o Maintains source documentation
o Responsible for ensuring clinical trials are conducted in accordance with scientific, medical, and ethical principles, within regulatory requirements/guidelines, and Pfizer SOPs
o Responsible for volunteer/patient safety
o Executes and is responsible for the accurate data and sample collection according to protocol requirements and for documentation of electronic and written data
o Responsible for self-check on data collected during daily activities
o Executes and is responsible for multiple study activities including nursing assessment of physiologic response to drug administration, administration of study medications, cardiac monitoring, basic nursing care and emergency interventions
o Minimum of Bachelor degree in Nursing
o General medical-surgical nursing experience including competency in phlebotomy/venipuncture techniques, and performing electrocardiograms is highly recommended
