Your role as Business Development Representative:

With a primary focus of building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, the Business Development Representative has direct account ownership and is responsible for being the primary point of contact for customers to identify and address sales opportunities and resolve account related transactional issues relative to new and different products, services, or program offerings.
You are responsible for moderate and complex transactions with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment and you're capable of managing and resolving the most complex transactional operations and issues.
You advise your customers of appropriate marketing programs applicable to their business needs and you proactively engage in business and sales opportunities to establish strong customer/vendor relationships and achieve identified sales related objectives.
You identify and communicate complementary add-on and cross-selling opportunities to partners by leveraging moderate knowledge and understanding of Ingram Micro’s diverse portfolio of products, programs, and services.
The Business Development Representative proactively and professionally recommends and sells programs, products and services to customers that meet their objectives while also supporting Ingram Micro promotions and campaigns.
You generate sales leads for self or field based sales team members to proactively address and records leads in appropriate pipeline management tools.

Profiel: 

Your experience, knowledge & skills:

You're graduated as a Bachelor with a minimum of one year previous sales/customer service experience (preferably in a related industry) or one year experience with Ingram Micro in a sales or customer service capacity,
Your knowledge of professional, effective telephone techniques and customer care is good,
Your technical and product knowledge is moderate & you’re eager to learn,
Your understanding of Ingram Micro programs, products and services is desirable,
You have previous ERP system experience,
You’re skilled in personal computing,
Your communication skills are excellent (written and verbal),
You’re able to work as a team member and partner effectively with others,
You have strong organizational skills and problem solving agility,
You can prioritize duties with a strong degree of urgency and perform work with some supervision,
You’re able to multi-task and respond to rapid change,
You’re able to handle large quantities of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
